Indonesia is one of the biggest archipelago countries in the world which having more than 17 thousand islands. Therefore, maritime transportation is very important for the country, especially for the logistic distribution. Indonesia already have more than 2000 sea ports spread nearly entire islands, however most of the sea ports are not yet in professional operating and also have pure maritime construction quality. To be part of the maritime development, PT PII has established cooperation with France reputable contractors with scheme of Engineering Procurement Construction and Financing (EPC F) to develop sea ports in Indonesia. PT PII also interns to develop cooperation with international sea port operators.
